Caravel™ allows you to choose between two conversion methods, Converter and Express, depending on your goals and budget, provided that the critical business logic is maintained.

With Converter, the converted Java code is in a form that is easy to understand for the average Java engineer. You can also freely choose the Java and JavaScript frameworks and database frameworks, such as Spring Boot, Angular, and MyBatis. Furthermore, the conversion engine is highly customizable, allowing you to freely configure the directory structure, package structure, naming conventions, types/variables, etc., and have them reflected in the engine. By using this engine, coding quality can be guaranteed and receive a rank A rating on SonarQube.
This makes future maintenance work easier for the average Java engineer.

With Express, the converted Java code is converted in a manner similar to common legacy languages, making it more compatible with existing systems; Express allows projects to be completed in a shorter turnaround time and at a lower cost compared to Converter. It is also very close to the operability of the current system, maintaining the feel of a 3270 or 5250 emulator.
This makes it an ideal choice for those who want to keep their budgets low and for current maintenance personnel who intend to continue to maintain the system as it is.
